Challenges!
The Roll of the Dice Challenge By Hollygirlgirl Set Up Start out creating a house full of eight men or women, you choose. Move them into an empty lot. They will be used later on for marrying, you will need to roll the dice to create them and see what they look like. You will not really be playing this house out so just give them a phone and a computer and leave them there. Make sure none of them are related. You will have to roll the dice to also see what aspiration they all are. Now make one other person who is the opposite sex of the eight. Move this person into an empty lot, no pre-built houses. This is the person you will be playing. Game Play The point of this challenge is to have that one person marry one of the eight. Then one of their kids will need to marry one of the remaining seven and so forth until that one house has married into all of the other eight people. So you should end up with eight generations. If in some case you need lets say a girl and a girl is never born then you will have to marry someone else if this happens you can keep going but you must minus out points. If you do have a “unsuccessful marriage” as I will call it make sure you marry an NPC or Townie only. See what kind of combinations you get with hair, skin color, eye color and so forth it should get interesting. You can play out their lives anyway you want but even if there is a breakup you have to marry only one of the eight so it takes the minimum or eight generations. Cheats There are no cheats allowed in this challenge and no exiting when something bad happens. Roll dice for all info for each person. Make one person in CAS. Move this person male or female it’s up to you into an empty lot. No pre-built houses. Now create four more houses full of random sims, these sims will be used later on for when your sims need someone to marry. Make sure you have a variety of males and females in these houses. Make sure everyone in these houses are not related or this wont work. You have to roll the dice to figure out what all of these people will look like and their aspirations, including the one person living on his or her own, this person is the one you will start off playing. Your sims will not be allowed to marry anyone except people in one of these houses. If you run out of people and you haven’t met the goal of the challenge you can create more sims. Game Play The goal of this challenge is to take that one person, get them married to one of the people in one of those other houses, and start multiplying. Keep going until you reach a population of 100 people total. From beginning to end. So, if they were to have three kids, keep one in the house and move the others out, make them all get married and start having more kids, and do the same with those kids when they grow up. The people in the four houses do not count until one of your sims has married them. You have to play our the houses equally so that they are all equal in age. If a couple breaks up and one moves out that person who left does not count as one of the 100 now, so be careful because you can loose people then. Keep track of everything because there are lots of ways to earn points through-out this challenge. Cheats No cheats are allowed at all and no exiting if something bad happens. Below is the list to go by when creating people. Make them according to what you roll. Skin Color 1-lightest shade of skin 2-second lightest shade 3-third lightest shade 4-fourth shade 5-you choose from choices one or two 6-you choose from choices three or four Hair Color 1-Blond 2-Brown 3-Red 4-Black 5-you choose from choices one or two 6-you choose from choices three or four Eye Color 1-light blue 2-brown 3-grey 4-green 5-dark blue 6-you choose from any Aspiration 1-fortune 2-knowledge 3-family 4-romance 5-popularity 6-you choose Personality-you will get to choose from two no matter what you roll 1-Gemini or Cancer 2-Leo or Virgo 3-Libra or Scorpio 4-Sagittarius or Capricorn 5-Aquarius or Pisces 6-Aris or Taurus Points to earn For every baby born=1 For every set of twins= additional 2 For every kid accepted into private school= 4 For every toddler that learns to walk= 1 Talk= 1 Potty train= 1 For every sim that grows up good= 1 For every maxed out point= 5 For every platinum grave= 7 For every maxed out job= 10 Points Lost For every sim that grows up bad= -2 For every sim that gets fired= -2 For every visit from the social bunny= -10 For every sim that gets rejected into private school= -2 For every child of any age that gets taken away by social workers= -10 One Man Town By Hollygirlgirl Set Up To start this challenge make the cutest most attractive man you can. He can look anyway you would like him to. Move him into a lot or house it doesn’t matter because you wont actually be playing with him. Give him a computer and a phone. Now go back to CAS and create two women, not living together, they can look anyway you would like as well. Move them both into an empty lot, no pre-built houses for them. You will be playing these girls out. The girls need to have a family aspiration, for the guy it doesn’t really matter but romance would be best. Game Play The point of this challenge is to have as many people as possible in that neighborhood by the end of five generations, using only one man to make them. You start with generation one, those two womens kids, not them their children. The trick is, they can’t get married and they can only have kids with that one man, hence a one mans town. Keep every girl that is born to these women and have them move out on their own, keeping one girl in each house, then since you wont be able to make those girls have kids with that guy, replace him with another guy. Do the same thing with these girls. Continue to do this for five generations. Try to populate the neighborhood as much as you can starting with just two women and only going five generations. All your boy children will really be of no value but you will get points for having them and the way they grow up and so forth, but when they turn into adults they must move out and you wont need them anymore, they cannot stay and help raise his sisters kids. But you have to raise whatever you get, even if it’s ten boys, you cannot exit and keep trying until you get a girl. You can choose what the original people look like it’s all up to you. Adopting is not allowed in this challenge. Keep track of the total number of sims you get, not including the men used for breeding. Cheats No cheats are allowed at all, your sims can hire as much help as they need but no cheating of any sort. No exiting when something bad happens. Points For every baby born-3 For every set of twins-additional 2 Each maxed out job-20 Each maxed out point-8 For each toddler that learns to talk-2 Walk-2 Potty train-2 Each child that gets into private school-5 For every 10 sims born=additional 5 points Points Lost If a child of any age gets taken away by a social worker= -10 If a sim dies from anything other then old age= -5 For every sim that gets fired= -3 For every sim that gets visits from a social bunny= -10 For every kid that gets rejected for private school= -2 When Bad Things Happen to Good Sims By Hollygirlgirl Set Up Start out creating one man or woman in CAS. Make them have any aspiration you want. Move them into an empty lot. Now go back to CAS and create four houses full of random sims you will need later on, make two houses have 8 men and the other two have 8 women. Make them all have different aspirations your choice of what. They can look anyway you want. Make them all not related. Move them all into houses and just give them a phone and a computer, you wont actually be playing them out they are just for marrying into. Game Play For this challenge you are going to be making bad things happen to your good sims. A lot of bad things. Take that one guy or girl and play out there lives anyway you want except, you have to roll the dice to see what bad thing will happen in their lives. You get points for every time you roll the dice and make something bad happen, but beware sometimes the bad things are not too bad and sometimes they are something like kill one sim, so they are the same amount of points but sometimes they can be way worse. You have to follow the rules exactly, but if you don’t want to it’s ok but you will loose points. You choose when and how many times you roll the dice, and when you complete that one thing then you can roll again. You will roll the dice then you will find that number on the chart below, then you will roll again and then follow what it says for that number. You should focus on just the one house, unless it says that the parents have to get a divorce and one parent takes one kid and the other another, then you will have to play out two houses. Your family has to have at least one kid at some point and time to continue on with the challenge. The youngest kid should stay in the house to continue on with the challenge. This challenge is meant to go for five generations. There are a few exceptions to the rules, say if it says to kill a parent and then next time it says to make them get a divorce well obviously they can’t divorce if one is dead so you can just roll again. Most of the time you will be able to know what things you can and cannot skip over. Aliens are allowed but no cheating to get them. You can adopt in this challenge as well. Cheats You can cheat for the money cheat one time for them to have a nice house, and if they get a divorce then the family that moves out can also cheat for money one time. No exiting when something bad happens, obviously. No other cheating. Points 25=for every time you roll the dice and do exactly what it says to do. Points Lost -20=for every time you skip or fail to do something the dice says to do. Below is the list that you have to go by. The Rolls of the Dice Roll the first time to determine which category you are in, 1 for Divorce, 2 for more divorces and affairs and so forth, then roll again to determine which bad thing in that category you are going to do. 1=Divorces 1 Divorce, do what you want with the kids if they have any. 2 Divorce, half kids stay with mom, half with the dad. Which means you have to have at least two kids. You choose which parent and what kids stay in this house and what ones move out. 3 Divorce, dad leaves mom alone with kids, you choose the amount of kids but it is plural so there has to be at least two kids. 4 Divorce, mom leaves dad alone with kids 5 Divorce, has to have at least one kid with two divorced spouses. 6 Divorce, has to be divorced at least three times, with at least two kids by a different spouse, you choose which parent has the affairs. 2=More Divorces and Affairs 1 Bride leaves groom at the alter, if they are already married then make them get a divorce and then have the mom stay in the house and do this to a different guy. 2 Groom leaves bride at the alter, same as above if already married. 3 One parent dies, you choose which one. 4 Both parents die, you have to have at least one child be a teen, or have another adult move in the house first. 5 Choose one main parent, make that one have lots of affairs and get caught multiply times, but they stay together. 6 Choose one main parent, make that one have a couple affairs and finally the other spouse leaves him or her with at least one kid. 3=Affairs 1 Have one parent have an affair and get caught. They stay together though. 2 Have the woman have an affair that results in a baby, but they stay together. 3 Have one parent have an affair that results in a baby, then the couple breaks up. You choose which one stays and if you want to have the other one take part of the kids and play them out, or the kids can stay and the other spouse can just leave up to you. 4 Have both parents have affairs, no babies result in affairs though, and they stay together. 5 Have the woman have affairs, at least two that result in another mans baby, but they stay together. 6 Have the woman have affairs, at least two that result in another mans baby, then she leaves him with all the kids. 4=Messed Up Kids 1 Make one kid get taken by a social worker 2 Make a teen run away 3 Make kids do really bad in school all the time 4 Have the whole family not get along well at all 5 Make 2 kids get taken by a social worker 6 You choose one of these 5=Divorces Or Affairs-Mix 1 Couple has to have at least one kid then get divorced, you choose which one stays with kid. 2 Couple has to have at least 2 kids then get divorced, again you decide which one does what. 3 One parent has an affair then leaves. 4 One parent has an affair but stays 5 Both parents have an affair, woman has a baby with the man she has an affair with. 6 You choose from one of these. 6=You Choose 1 You choose anything from category one 2 You choose anything from category two 3 You choose anything from category three 4 You choose anything from category four 5 You choose anything from category five 6 You choose anything you want. No hiring nannies. The challenge is over when the last kid is an adult. Cheats You can use the money cheat one time only, so that you can start out with a good home. Set Up You will start this challenge out with a couple made in CAS, Move them into an empty lot, doesn’t matter what size however big you would like, but no pre-built houses. I suggest you use a whole separate neighborhood for this challenge. All sims in this challenge will need to be Family aspiration. Your sims are allowed to marry whoever you want threw out this challenge, you can also create extra houses with sims for them to marry later on if you don’t want to just marry NPC’s.
Gameplay This challenge is meant to go on for ten generations. But each generation is going to represent ten years, so by the end of the challenge it will be like a century has gone by. The first people are generation one. The first generation is required to have three children, no matter what the cards say to have them do, you will move the oldest two out on their own and play their houses as well. So you will have a total of three playable houses for this challenge. The basic goal of this challenge is to go threw ten generations in each house, and each generation will have something to complete, you’ll write those things on cards, written I suggest on index cards, then you will draw one for each card for each generation and you must play out everything written on the cards. You can choose what to put on these cards, good things, bad things, or a mix of each, I’ll put suggestions at the bottom that you can use or you can make up your own. To make it more fun I suggest you make some that are really bad, I like putting things they have to complete before they die, like have ten kids or something like that. You will want to make at least thirty cards, because three houses will go for ten generations. For each generation you will draw a card and play out everything written on it without exception. The youngest child in each house will stay in the house to continue the challenge. You will need to draw their card as soon as they turn into teens, because the good cards will allow them to go to college. At the start of each household, you can cheat with money and take them shopping for clothes, you will need to do this but make sure they return home with only the original $20,000 they would have started with. You have to take them shopping because there are rules about what they can wear for every other generation. For the first four generations all girls must wear a dress, from toddler stage until elder age. All boys must wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt, from child stage until elders. No shorts or tank tops. For the fifth and the sixth generation, the girls can now wear dresses or pants and shirts, no shorts. The boys have to stick to the same clothes as before. For the rest of the generations they can now all wear whatever they want. There’s one more part to this challenge. If it’s supposed to be a century, and each generation is supposed to be ten years, then think of it as the first generation lives in the 1900’s, the next in the 1910’s and so forth. For every other generation you will be able to buy more new stuff. So there are a lot of things in the game that wouldn’t have existed in those times. I don’t know exactly when things were invented, so I’m gonna make up some restrictions for this challenge. Here is a list of things you can’t have for every other generation. For any generation you can buy the wedding arch, and you can buy the high chair, the toddler toys, the changing table and the crib. 1st and 2nd Generation Comfort=No comfort over $600, except beds not over $1,000. No decorations over $500. No plumbing over $1,000. No appliances over $750. No electronics except for the fire alarm, and the phone, and the burglar alarm. Hobbies=creativity only the easel. No bookcase over $400. No weight bench over $1,000. No recreation over $500. No dresser over $500. No toys except the toy box. A birthday cake is ok. You can have a trash can. No animals. 3rd and 4th Generation They can now have animals if you like. No comfort over $850, except beds not over $1,200. No Decorations over $750. No plumbing over $1,500. No appliances over $1,000. Electronics none over $250. Hobbies, none over $1,000. No misc. over $500. 5th and 6th Generation Again you can buy animals if you want. No comfort over $1,200 except Beds over $2,000. No decorations over $1,000. No plumbing over $1,800. Appliances, you can buy any you want. Electronics, none over $1,200. Misc. none over $600. 7th Generation and On, you can now buy anything you want. There aren’t points for this challenge. You just complete everything you have on the cards you draw. If you do that for each house for each generation you complete the challenge successfully. Adoption is not allowed for this challenge unless it’s on your card to do it. For the first four generations, you cannot hire any help at all. Except ordering groceries. After that you can hire all the help you need. Aliens aren’t allowed. You can use any of the reward challenges that come with a job, but you aren’t allowed to buy anything with the aspiration points unless the card says so. For the first four generations they aren’t allowed to have a cell phone or handheld game, unless you get a good card that says they can go to college then you can buy it if you want.
Cheats Cheats are not allowed, except at the very beginning of each household. You can cheat with money to go shopping for the clothes required.
