Challenges!

If anyone can think of more challenges or challenges that you have heard of please send them to me with all the rules. I'm trying to get a lot of them but am having a hard time finding more. I would love to find a challenge about the knowledge aspiration.

This is a picture that is from a family that I made a story about. The story is in the main sims 2 site. This is Benson with adopted daughter Elizabeth.

This is another pic from that story. Elizabeth was now a teenager but Benson is gone!

Really Old Fashioned Challenge

By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up

Make a man and woman in CAS already married. Move them into an empty lot, but don’t build them a house, just four walls with the walls down all the way. They are not meant to have a wonderful home. Carpet is allowed so that weeds will not grow, but no paint on the walls. So no pre-built houses. They can be any aspiration but I would suggest using family aspiration.

Game Play

The point is that they are supposed to be living kinda out in the wild, but I had to allow walls otherwise thieves come and steal your stuff. Your sims will also have to do without a few things. No t.v., no big stereo, little radios ok. No electronic car, no pin ball machine, no Nintendo, no hot tub, and no shopping for clothes, no swing set. An upstairs is also forbidden, make there house nothing fancy at all. Here’s another thing, you can’t hire help of any sort!! Nothing. This is all supposed to be before that stuff was available so no pizza either. You can order groceries of course but no pizza and no help. Go for three generations of having a very poor family without a lot of things and try to keep the family as happy as possible. The family has to have at least three children, and you have to try to keep them happy. The kids must share a room, and be limited in how much fun stuff they get. The kids are forbidden to go out on dates. There are no points for this challenge just try completing it keeping them as happy as possible in a small ugly little house.

Cheats

No cheats are allowed of any sort. No exiting when something bad happens either.

Survivor, Sims Style

By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up

Start off creating 8 sims in CAS. You can choose whether 8 boys or 8 girls or a mix of 4 each. Don’t have them be related. You can move them into an empty lot or a pre-built house. Out of the eight sims, you have to use all aspirations, and then you can choose what aspiration for the rest of them.

Game Play

This challenge is supposed to be based on the hit tv show Survivor. So, first rule, leave them on free will at all times. Don’t tell them what to do at all, you can help them out just a little bit, like if they are about to die or something but no helping them out with relationships. Let them interact anyway they would like to. They can have jobs if you would like and other friends that doesn’t matter but no other sims can move in at any time. Now, every three days you will need to vote someone out of the game. So, whichever sim has the worst relationship with another sim has to go. So leave them alone and see what relationships don’t work out. Then move that person out and go again from there. Just sit back and watch their interactions. Until you get down to just one person, and that person is now the Sole Survivor, Sims Style.

Cheating

At the beginning you can cheat to make them the perfect house. But no other cheating at all.

Points

There are no points for this challenge, just a winner in the end.

Rich Sims

By Hollygirlgirl

Setup

Create a man and woman in CAS. Make them already married. Move them into an empty lot your choice of size. No pre-built houses. They can have any aspiration you would like.

Game Play

The basic goal of this challenge is to earn as much money as you can over the course of five generations. Round off the money for every 50,000 dollars. For every generation one kid will have to stay in the house to continue the challenge. You can have up to four adult or elder sims working at one time, no more then four. You can’t just move in tons of sims just to work and earn money, they have to be part of the family. So, you could have two parents and then keep two kids to work in the house for money. Adopting is not allowed in this challenge. You can use any service required threw-out the game.

Cheating

No cheats are allowed in this challenge at all. No exiting when something bad happens.

Points

1=for each baby born

2 extra=if you get twins

1=for every toddler who learns to talk

1=potty train

1=walk

5=for every maxed out point per sim

10=for every job that goes all the way up

25=for every 50,000 dollars your sims earn

Points lost

-5=for every sim that dies from anything except old age

-5=for every sim that gets a visit from the social bunny

-10=if any child of any age gets taken away by a social worker.

Free will on, Free will off.

By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up

Start out creating a family in CAS. Make an elder, two adults, a teen, a child and a toddler. They can be any sex you want, have any aspiration you want and look anyway you would want. The two adults need to be married. They need to have at least three different aspirations in between them all, but you can wait and use a different aspiration for the child or the toddler when they grow up it’s up to you. Now, move them into a house or lot, any size you want.

Game Play

Now, for one day you have complete control over what all of your sims do. But then at midnight, you loose control. Turn on free will and leave them alone, for one whole day. At the end of that day you take control again, this time for two days, then you loose control for two days, then you gain control for three days, then loose it for three days. After that (if you have any sims still alive) start back over at one day of each and do it all again. Remember, you have absolutely no control at all, just sit back and hope and pray they don’t die!! The point is to see how long they can survivor without you! The challenge ends when everyone is dead whether of old age or accident. You can not have anymore kids, this challenge is based on just the six of them.

Cheats

You can cheat in this challenge, but for money only!! You can make them as rich as you want with the best house it’s all up to you. Of course, no exiting when something bad happens.

Points

There aren’t too many points to keep track of but here they are.

25=for each sim that dies from natural death, old age.

5=for each platinum grave

7=for each maxed out point (seeings how it will be hard because for the most part you wont be able to tell them to get points)

Have fun!

How Long Can You Survive?

By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up

This is a longer version of my challenge called Free will on, Free will off.

Start out creating a family in CAS. Make a family of one elder, two adults who are married, one female and one male. A teen, a child and a toddler. They can have any aspiration you want as long as between them all you have two different aspirations. You choose who has which one. Now, move them into a lot or house it doesn’t matter.

Game Play

For the first day you have control of everything your sims do, then for one day you have to put it on free will and not touch them, just sit back and let them do whatever they want to do, you cannot interfere for anything, even if someone dies don’t touch them on days when you have no control. Then go to having control again but this time for two days, then go back to having no control for two days. Then you have control for three days, then no control for three days. After those three days, now go back to one day of each and start over again.

The next part of this challenge is that you have to have at least six people in your house at all times, so if on one of those days when you have no control someone dies, you quickly have to have the adult woman get pregnant, or adopt it’s up to you but you have to get back to six people immediately.

One of the kids has to stay in the house and continue on with the challenge, unless of course if they all die. If all of your sims die, you have lost and you must quit.

So pick a kid, keep them in the house and have them get married and quickly start a family, trying your hardest to keep it at 6 people in the house! You cannot just have that one kid stay in the house and have five other sims move in, you have to have a family. They have to get married or have live in boyfriends/girlfriends, and have kids.

Cheats

Cheats are allowed in this challenge but only for money, no exiting when something bad happens obviously and no other cheats allowed.

Points

20=for every sim that dies from old age and not some other method.

5=for every platinum grave

3=for every baby born (it’s harder to actually have your own kids so they are worth points)

Harry Potter Challenge
By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up
You will need to start with just one person created in CAS. This can be either a girl or boy that is up to you. If you have university you can start out with a young adult.
These sims in this challenge can marry anyone, but if you would like you can create a couple houses full of random people that your sims can marry or you can marry any NPCs or Townies that you would like to.
This challenge is meant to go on for five generations starting with the first sims kids as generation one, but of course you can continue the challenge as long as you would like to. You can choose which aspiration each sim is that is up to you.

Game play
The point of this challenge is to have as many witches or wizards as possible. You will roll a dice to find out what each sim is, a muggle or witch or wizard. Muggles have to be played out differently then magic people. I’ll write more about that in a minute, but the first person you start out with is a witch or wizard. All other people are muggles!!
Only witches and wizards are allowed to go to college, if you want them to go it’s up to you you just get extra points for sending them, but muggles are not allowed. You can cheat for college kids for up to five thousand dollars when they go to college as a reward for being magic people.
When they are adults and you are starting their lives you have to roll the dice to see how many kids that sim can have, if you roll a one you can save that and roll again and then add it to the next number. They don’t have to have all the kids that you roll for you just can’t go over that number, but it’s good to have lots of kids so you have a better chance of having a magic kid.
When each child becomes a teenager you will need to roll the dice to see if they are magic people or muggles. You have to roll a one, if it is anything else they are muggles. The youngest witch or wizard needs to stay in that house to continue on with the challenge.
If you don’t get any witches or wizards out of a generation, then the youngest muggle must stay. All other muggles must move out and be deleted. You don’t need to keep any extras around, they cannot stay just to help out with money if they are not magic people.
If you get a bunch of witches or wizards you can keep them all and move them into their own houses or if you don’t want multiple houses you can just take the points you would get for having them and when they grow up you can move them out and delete them it’s up to you.
When it comes to rolling the dice to see if they are magic people or not, if neither parent is a magic person you only get one roll per sim to try to get a one to make them magic, but if one parent is a magic person you can roll twice per child.
O.k., now for how to play things out, you can pretty much do whatever you want with your sims, but there are restrictions if one person in each household is not a magic person.
If at least one person in each house is a magic person:
The only real rule is you have to follow how many kids that sim can have, again you don’t have to have them have all the kids you roll for but they cannot go over that number. Other then that your pretty free.
They, however, can earn extra points for the challenge because they are magic people. And remember only magic people can go to college. If they are magic people feel free to use whatever expansion packs you might have, your completely free to use whatever you want and send them wherever you want. They can also use any and all rewards you would like them to use.
When a new witch or wizard is starting off life you can cheat with them for money for 10,000. No other cheating.

Here are the points for when there is at least one magic person in the household.

For every maxed out point= 7
For every maxed out job= 10
For every platinum grave= 7
For every lifetime want accomplished= 10
For every sim that graduates from college= 10
For every sim that gets into private school= 3
If you get twins that are both magic people (keep in mind you wont know if they are both magic people until they turn into teens)= 15
For every brother or sister that are both magic people, so anytime there is more then one magic person per generation= 5 (per each additional magic person)
For every 5 magical people born, in any household, not counting the first sim created in CAS.= 15

These are the points your sims can loose (these are less for magic people then for muggles)

For every sim that gets fired= -1
For every sim that gets a visit from the social bunny -5
For every sim that gets rejected into private school= -1
For every child of any age that gets taken by a social worker= -5
For every sim that dies from anything except old age= -5

Muggle Play Out Rules

Again muggles cannot go to college. If both parents are muggles only one can work, so this may make money a little tighter for them.
They are not allowed to hire help except they can order groceries. They are not allowed to use any rewards of any sort at all! They are not allowed to cheat for any money.
You cannot send your sims anywhere to do any shopping or other fun things that have to do with expansion packs. And they also cannot have more kids then what you roll the dice for.

Here are the points for muggles

For each maxed out point= 4
For each maxed out job= 7
For each child of any age that gets into private school= 2
For each platinum grave= 4
For each lifetime want accomplished= 7

Points Lost (Worse for muggles)
For every sim fired= -3
For every sim that gets rejected into private school= -3
For every sim that gets a visit from the social bunny= -10
For every sim of any age that gets taken by a social bunny= -10
For every sim that dies from anything except old age= -10

Life Of A Neighborhood
By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up
Start out creating a new sim in CAS, they can be a young adult and start out in college if you have University and you wish to do that. If they finish college or if they start out as an adult then move them into an empty lot. You have to roll the dice for all aspirations in this challenge. In this challenge, your sims can marry anyone you want as long as they are college kids, townies, or NPCs. You will have to set up some cards in order to play out this challenge as well. These cards will be used multiple times in this challenge. These cards will be used to see what things will happen in your sims lives, at the bottom of the rules for this challenge will be the things you will need to write on these cards.

Game Play
The point of this challenge is to make a whole neighborhood starting out with just one sim, and to make the story of all the people in that neighborhood interesting. You can choose when to end the challenge, go up to either 100, 200 or 300 sims total. It’s up to you because that can make it a long challenge. You have to play out every single sim born until they die, there are no rules though that each one has to have kids and then keep playing out that house, that is up to you, only one house has to have or adopt kids to keep the challenge going, just play each sim out until they die. Another point of this challenge is to just play out the way you would like to but with some twists and ways to earn points. You can pretty much do whatever you want with your sims, but of course, just like in real life, bad stuff happens and it will happen to your sims as well. That’s what will be written on these cards, but some of the cards will also include good things, so they aren’t always bad, feel free to come up with your own things to write on the cards if you would like to, these were just ones I came up with. When a sim turns into an adult, or young adult, you have to draw some cards to see what things will happen in their life that you don’t get to control. You will need to make two piles of cards, a good thing pile and a bad thing pile, you have to draw a card from the bad pile, and you have to play out whatever is written on that card, and then you get to draw a good card. Play it out and have fun! You can adopt in this challenge. Aliens are allowed as well as long as you don’t cheat to get them. No exiting when something bad happens, and no exiting to get the sex of the baby that you want.

Cheats
There is no cheating at all of any sort in this challenge, unless the card you draw says you can.

Points Earned
2=for every baby born
1=for every child adopted whatever age
2=additional points for every set of twins born
2=for every toddler who learns to walk
2=talk
2=potty train
1=for every sim that grows up good
10=for every job that goes all the way up
5=for every maxed out point per sim
7=for every platinum grave
3=for every sim of any age that gets into private school
10=for every sim that graduates from college
7=for every lifetime want accomplished
25=additional for every 100 sims born

Points Lost
-2=for every sim that grows up bad
-2=for every sim that gets fired
-5=for every sim that gets a visit from the social bunny
-2=for every sim that gets rejected to get into private school
-10=for every sim of any age that gets taken away by a social worker
-10=if any sims of any age dies from anything except old age

Here are the things you can write on the cards. You can have multiple cards say the same thing if you like to, I have written after each card how many I suggest making saying that thing. After completing what is written on the cards, you choose what they do with the rest of their lives unless it’s written differently on the card. Have fun!!!

Move Me To A Better House

By Hollygirlgirl

Set Up

Start out creating one man and woman in CAS. Move them onto am empty lot, the smallest one possible, build them a small house, nothing special, and save up as much money as possible. No pre-built houses yet. They can be any aspiration you want and so can all sims down the line. Now, go and create ten other houses, start off with one worth only a little, pretty small house, but with enough room for your sims, then as you go along each house should be bigger and better then the one before, make the last couple houses worth thousands upon thousands if possible. The last house should be the best you can create. You will use these later on. Your sims may marry anyone you please, any NPCs or Townies or you can make extra houses full of people and use them for marrying into.

Gameplay

The basic point of this challenge is to have one family, over as little amount of generations as possible, make enough money to move into each house. So you will start them out with a very small simple house, as nice as you can make it considering they will have very little money. Then when they get enough money you will move them into the next nicest house, and keep moving them up in houses, each one a little nicer and more expensive then the one before. So your sims will have to work hard to earn enough money to move into each house. You cannot skip a house even if you have saved up enough money to do so they have to live in each house and purchase each house. There is no time limit of how long they must stay in a house but they will have to save up for each one.

You should try to make it as little amount of generations as possible. But sometimes it will take longer to afford the next house so it might take a little longer to move up.

Adoption is not allowed in this challenge, it will make it just a little harder if you have to go threw each stage of life. If you have university and plan on using it your sims have to stay teens for at least five days.

Also, if you have university, only one sim per generation may go to college. You cannot have the first generation have six kids and then send each to college and move them all back in to save up money, not allowed. Only one kid may stay from each generation. They will need to get married or have a live in mate in order to make more sims but no moving in extra sims for making more money.

They may hire help of any sort.

You cannot use any extra way of making money, no money trees or any other way of making extra money.

The challenge is over when your sims have bought the nicest house, they must fill the house up with all the stuff they need to live there. They have to remain in this house and they must have a bank account of 100,000 dollars. When you have accomplished that you have successfully finished the challenge.

Cheats

There is absolutely no cheating of any sort allowed in this challenge.

Points Earned

For each baby born= 1

For each sim that grows up well= 1

For each set of twins born= extra 2 (so four in all)

Each toddler who learns to walk= 2

Talk= 2

Potty Train= 2

Each maxed out point per sim= 5

Each job that goes all the way up= 7

Each sim that graduates from college= 7

For each child that gets into private school= 3

If it takes you twenty generations to complete the challenge= 50

For each less generation then twenty generations that it takes you to complete the challenge add on ten points per generation, so if it takes you nineteen generations then you get 60 points, if it takes eighteen then you get 70 points and so forth.

Points Lost

-15= If a sim of any age gets taken away by a social worker

-5= If a sim of any age dies from anything other then old age

-10= If any sim has to have a visit from the social bunny

-2= For every sim that grows up bad

-4= For every sim that gets rejected into private school

-10= If any sim fails college or drops out
